SALTWATER
Over the past couple of years I started using spinning reels for my saltwater flats fishing. I had tried several different lines and they always seemed to get knotted up one way or the other. A couple of weeks ago, I was at my sponsor's place of business telling him that the line I was using just wasn't working good on the spinning reels (Shimano Stradics). Well, this guy Rick Steinman approached me and gave me a bottle of Line and Lure Saltwater Formula and said it would cure my problems. I went home and sprayed the reels down good and let them sit over night. Went fishing the next day and had ZERO problems, couldn't believe it. I started thinking all the money I wasted buying different lines. My casting distance also improved. This stuff really works and I will buy some for friends and family. Thanks Great Product.

Spent Saturday and Sunday teaching fly casting to beginners and some advanced casters. One of the vendors that was there was selling Kevin Van Dam "Line and Lure" This is a co-polymer that is used on the lines of the Bass masters to make it slick and stop tangling. I did some experimenting with the spray on my fly lines. I was casting my 8 weight St Croix with the Rio Longcast WF 8F. I wiped it clean in a towel and then sprayed the line wound two layers of line on and sprayed some on the 1/4 turn. Let is dry about 10 minutes. The Rio is a long bellied line. About 110 ft long. If I say this stuff works it would be understated. I was so impressed that I tried in on the school rod lines. The Cortland lines had see better days. Good enough for cast on the ground. The shooting was getting rough. So with nothing to loose I took the 4 I had set up. Wiped them down. Reloaded as I sprayed them down. With the Sage II school rods I use I was sending all the line out. This stuff works. I am thinking of getting case of this KVD and Just selling it to my friends.

Primarily I use Berkley Vanish Fluorocarbon. It's a strong and invisable line, but it has a lot of memory which makes it more difficult to keep it from backlashing. During a tournament I had gotten a serious backlash which caused the line to kink and it seemed like every other cast I would get another backlash. Short of replacing the line I decided to try Line and Lure and was completely amazed at how good it worked. It didn't stop the backlashing completely but I got way fewer backlashes. This is one great product.

I used KVD Line & Lure conditioner for the first time on my spinning reel with 12lb Trilene XL Line. I've always had problems with the mono type line coiling up and getting tangled but after using the sample bottle I haven't had any problems with tangled line.

This past weekend I was relining most all my reels getting ready for an upcoming tournament on 5/7. I applied KVD's Line and Lure Conditioner as I relinded each reel and put them back in the boat. That was two days ago and today I went to the lake to check out a few repairs that had been made to my boat and trailer. Since I was on the water I fished for a little while. I couldn't believe the difference that the KVD L & L conditioner made in casting distance and I actually had to tighten the spool tension on several reels and adjust the pins. I was mainly throwing crankbaits and spinner baits with suffix line and they were really getting out farther than usual.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!!! Being a woman who has spent most of her life fishing with men, outcasting your fishing partner (especially when fishing off the back of the boat) can be critical in a successful tournament showing. Now that I am fishing as a pro in the Women's Bassmaster Tour, KVD Line & Lure has given me the edge over several of my competitors in casting distance, backlash management and line memory. If you're not using it... You're not winning!

Works very good to make older line fresh again. Really helps out on line memory, also works great on sunglasses and boat windshields in helping prevent water spots. Over all very good product. I also tried it as deoderizer for rod boxes and it did have a positive effect on elimanating odor. I will continue using KVD's Line and Lure treatment.

While fishing the Potomac on 4/8/06 my Power Pro line kept sticking together making for some difficult casting on a windy day. I have tried using Reel Magic before on braided line without any success. I remembered the bottle of KVD's that I received from the previous tournament and figured what the hell I'll see if it works. Needless to say the space once occuppied by the can of reel magic is now filled with the bottle of KVD's Line and Lure. There wasn't anything showing test results on braided line but I can tell you it worked great on mine. I only had to spray it on the one time all day and subsequently with every rod I picked up that day braided or mono it got sprayed too.

I was skeptical but after two or three trips to the water I am quite impressed with the lack of memory my line has now and actually appears to cast further and smoother on most of my rods.

This is my first year with ABA and am fairly new at tournament fishing. I can honestly tell you that I have always had trouble with baitcasting reels and "overrun." I didn't get to use the Line and Lure conditioner on the first tournament, but I have been using it daily and during my practices. I can now cast farther and unbind my "overrun" a heck of a lot easier than before. I think it is a great product and cannot wait to get some more.
