TOTAL improved accuracy!!!!! I mainly fish jigs in, through, under and around structure, and after using Line and Lure I have to say my accuracy has become pin-point! And with less effort. So I've never used any line conditioner in the past, and to be honest I always thought these were nothing more than a gimmick. My initial opinion could not be further from the truth.
In order for the test to be fair, I had to have a control rod/reel, which was identical to the rod/reel that had the KVD conditioner. The night before the test, I followed the directions and sprayed on the line, guides and spool of rod/reel A. Rod/reel B was left alone. The rods I was using for the test were my Steez 7'1" with Alphas Ito reels, spooled with 14 lb fluorocarbon. I was using a 1/2 oz Megabass 110 for both set ups.
Well the fishing could have been better today. Weather was nice and the wind picked up in the afternoon, but overall, I am really impressed with this KVD "sauce". I found the line to be easier to handle, as fluorocarbon is typically tougher to deal with than mono. I was able to cast further with the KVD treated combo than with combo B, and honestly will more than likely continue to use this stuff.
To be quite honest I am pleasantly surprised by the results!

After using this conditioner for the past several months, I have some very specific observations:
KVD Line & Lure is uniquely formulated to bond with fishing line. This is not just a "coating" that rinses off over time, but an application that becomes a part of the line. The finish is smooth and slick and stays that way permanently.
Line memory or lack of memory is very important to me. Although the line I fish (Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft) has very little memory while in use, KVD Line & Lure Conditioner reduces what remains. For other copolymer and monofilament lines, the effect would be very noticeable.
Casting distance may improve due to the lubricating properties of the conditioner, but in the unlikely event of a "professional overrun", KVD Line & Lure significantly reduces the tangle and time required to get back in business!
Finally, although the initial cost is low, when spread over time it is almost nothing. I have thoroughly conditioned nine reels, some several times when respooling. In addition to the initial coating, I spray KVD Line & Lure Conditioner on my lines before and after every outing. I have also nearly soaked every reserve spool of line I have, which is suggested by the way. With all this usage, I still have more than half of the bottle left! Even with heavy usage, this product will last a long time.
I like KevinVan Dam Line & Lure Conditioner and recommend that you give it a try. You will not be disappointed, promise!

KVD Line & Lure Conditioner, what can I say? After 7 weeks of applying this to my line and rod guides, I'm a believer. From the first few casts I could easily tell that everything about my casts was smoother, with less friction. I gained some distance on my casts which was real apparent when throwing lighter baits.
KVD Line Conditioner also does wonders on line that has a reputation for high memory. Light fluorocarbon line was no problem, and did not "kink" up like it sometimes did before. On my heavier mono and fluorocarbon lines, those are now easier to cast and handle - the KVD spray has added a limpness to my heavier test lines. It's definitely a welcome change. Picking out "professional over-runs" is easier now and the line does not kink as bad now when over-ran and I'm sure that helps with overall strength. This product also helps with knots and it was very easy to see that right off. Although I have broken my line a few times already, it wasn't because my knots slipped out.
Just a few days ago, I realized that I've now been fishing for almost 3 months this year and have been using the KVD Line Conditioner for almost two of those months. By this time, mid April, I have changed all lines on every reel, but not this year. I'm still going strong with the lines I started the season with and I attribute that to using the KVD product. As expensive as lines are these days, it doesn't make good sense to go without the KVD Line and Lure Conditioner; it will save you money in the long run.

I fish several days and week and the way I fish puts a lot of stress on my tackle. The line I use is primarily expensive fluorocarbon. So when I was given the chance to try out a bottle of Line and Lure I jumped at it. I spent a little time reading exactly how to apply it and then testing the claims that the company made that had something to do with the way I fish.
The first claim is "Increases casting distance". This is very important for me because my primary lake is very clear and the bass school up on Blueback Herring every chance they get. Chasing schooling fish can be very frustrating if you can't cast a very long distance. I applied it to my 17lb test copoly and took it for a ride. I can tell you that the increase in distance was noticeable from the very first cast. And it has lasted for the past month without additional application of the Line and Lure. I am truly impressed with this.
The next one is "Virtually eliminates line memory, backlash, tangles, and twists." Because of my long casting, I have my reels set very loose, almost to free spool. I did notice a reduction in backlashes. Although it did not eliminate them, the backlashes I did get were easier to get out.
The third is "Restores new line performance to old tired line". So I dug into my shop and pulled out one of my old BPS reels that still had line on it. I applied the Line and Lure and took it out the next day. It was impressive. I bet that line had been on that reel for three years and it worked great.
The fourth claim is, "Leaves no oily residues or scents like other line treatments". I like this one. I hate that oily crap I used to put on my line. It got everywhere and never lasted long. When I first got the bottle I sprayed some on my finger and rubbed it between them. It was water based. No oil at all. That was cool. This means that there will be no weakening of my line when I use Line and Lure because it won't deteriorate the line. As for the smell, it doesn't smell at all, but I don't smell like a fish so it's hard to test.
The last one I tested was the claim that says, "Reduces water spotting on electronics & sunglasses". So I sprayed it on my electronics and sure enough. No water spots. Now that's cool. It makes it easier to see on those sunny days when there are no water spots.
So my final conclusion is that this stuff does exactly what the company says it will do. It is excellent on mono and copoly and its performance really shines when it comes to fluorocarbon. I am sure it will keep my line at peak performance for a lot longer than usual.

Line and Lure speaks for itself through use. Every time I have someone in my boat fishing, I get them to try it and the reaction I get is great. I love nothing more a person who is frustrated on a windy day. A little Line and Lure on flourocarbon or braid and wind knots and backlashes are forgotten. My girlfriend was having a tough time with backlashes and I sprayed Line and Lure on her line....ten minutes later she asked what it was that I sprayed on it, she was hooked...next task, get her to catch a 5 pounder, but at least now she can cast at will!!

I\'ve tried your Line & Lure treatment and you can count me as a customer from now on. I must admit I was skeptical at first, but I could not believe the immediate difference it made. Casting distance improvement was huge and it reduced back lash to almost none and the ones I had were very small. It worked just as well on my spinning reels too.

I am using your product along with another member of my club. Boy does it help with the memory on fluorocarbon. Thank you, for your time and explanation. I now \"wet\" a rag with KVD conditioner and wrap it around the line when I am spooling a new reel. This seems to really work well. Keep up the good work. BTW, BassPro has your product for $1 more than Reel Magic. I truly believe you get what you pay fore, and I gladly pay the extra $1. I am just afraid that many people don\'t understand the difference. Thanks again.

This stuff is the real deal!!! I have used other line conditioners but never really saw any benefits until I tried Line & Lure. This stuff will have you casting farther with less line memory. Hey, its so good its Guaranteed!!!! Try it you'll love it too!!!!!!!

Line&Lure is such a great product! There is a visible difference in fluorocarbon line management! The line coils less and is much more limber, thus allowing for further casts. Awesome product, highly recommend the use of it for a better day on the water!

I live near and fish on the Coosa River in central Alabama. I commonly use spinning tackle and Vicious Fluorocarbon for the famed spotted bass of the region. KVD Line and Lure Conditioner allows the line to remain supple during a full day of fishing and in between trips. I treat both the bulk spool and the line on the reel. Time is money in tournament fishing and KVD Line and Lure Conditioner saves me time by not having to deal with twists commonly associated with spinning reels allowing me make the most of my day. I use the Line and Lure on my braid line and it is great. The line doesn't fade or wear as fast and makes my casting distance about 15% better. I also use the line and lure on my Costa sunglasses. What a difference. They don't fog and saltwater goes right off and doesnt leave a spot. Great product thanks.
